A smattering of things from life and food

I do not purport to know all there is to know about religion in general, or in particular, as I consider my self to only be a student of the subject of religion, and in no way an absolute authority on the subject.
As you can see from the illustration below, (I will add more as I locate them) not every known religion is listed. Rather it is a simplistic breakdown of religions in general from the understood base concept of Christianity.
Religion which is derived from the Latin word.| religionem (nom. religio) “respect for what is sacred, reverence for the gods.
Religion has grown from the worship of material figurines (statues) or symbols (symbolic representations) of the Gods or providers of spiritual protection as related to each belief structure, to a belief of a singular God or, in some religions Holy trinity (father, son, holy spirit) as perceived by various prophets of the latter most accepted religions and established religious groups.
Religion comes in many shapes and sizes, adjusted by alterations in the “Basic” belief of the individual or individuals associated with that group. Each group takes it ‘s structure from the accepted document ie. the Torah, the Quran, or the Holy bible in it’s numerous forms.
It is unknown for sure how many different religious beliefs have existed in time as many forms of religious belief have become extinct and lost to known records.
Some of the current belief structures date back to the beginning of time its self.
I have been and am still in the process of attempting to glean the base belief of each religion, mostly for my own personal understanding.
